Lina Ghotmeh is a French Lebanese Architect leading Lina Ghotmeh — Architecture, an international studio based in Paris and joining together architects, designers, and researchers. Innovative and largely acclaimed, her projects vary across scales and geographies — from the design of objects to the architecture of museums, from France to Japan. Like an “Archeology of the Future”, each of the atelier’s projects is an opportunity for in‐depth research leading onto a materially sensitive and environmentally engaged projects. Lina Ghotmeh is recognized, as such, for the Estonian National Museum, the restaurant “Les Grands Verres” at the Palais de Tokyo in Paris and the tower “Stone Garden” in Beirut. She has received multiple awards including the French Fine Arts Academy Cardin Award 2019, the French Academy Dejean Prize 2016, the Grand Prix Afex 2016, the French Ministry AJAP Prize 2008, and is currently nominated for the Schelling Prize. Her work will be exhibited at the upcoming Venice Biennale of Architecture 2021.
